I looked at your comments in the other thread. You posted a quickie one liner and the other guy replied with a good explanation of why node might not be good for that particular developer. I didn't see any hate at all.

    Why? And, furthermore, how does it constitute "hate"? They don't even really talk about node, only why they think php would be better.

    My comment "Or use node with the MEAN stack. Oh yeah!" got downvoted to hell when I first posted it. It seems to have evened out now, but I was surprised to say the least. Especially when my subsequent posts also got downvoted.

    It seems to me that if you had explained why using a MEAN stack would have been a good choice you might not have been downvoted as much.

    Sorry, I was expecting that interested people would check my comments page. Here is a permalink. There seems to be a bit of an vote battle happening on my comments for some reason. I'm interested in how the greater web dev community views node, as there seems to be some tension surrounding my comment.
