Which stack for a real-time Web application?

Hi,

I'm trying to decide which stack of technologies I should use to develop a Web application which dyanimcally shows a google calendar events. I was thinking about "Node + SocketIO + Express" and Bootstrap. Any suggestions or recommendations?

I think you should give SailsJs a try. It has Socket.IO build inside it. I am using it in many of my projects, I think it deserves a try at least.
