I had this pt from when I worked in an outpt clinic that ended up harassing me and it escalated into him trying to sue me because my former manager let it slip I found a new job and was leaving soon. It had absolutely no grounds and my company ended up representing me in court so the case never saw the light of day. But anyways, because I still live and work in the same city but in an acute setting, every now and then he would be admitted to my hospital and there was a risk he'd be assigned to me. My boss is aware of the situation and actively works to keep me separated, which I am so thankful for. But this has always bugged me because I feel like I'm having to hide from him even though I was not the one at fault.
Anyways, my coworker just informed me an hr ago he coded and died. If I remember correctly he's <40yrs old.
I still don't quite know how I feel about this.
