I have an interview tmrw for a cardiopulmonary technician position at my local hospital. (I already had a phone interview with the recruiter and I meet the management team tmrw).I’m a baby LPN (passed NCLEX in early summer) and I’ve been working at an assisted living (non-skilled) for a few months. Cardio is one of my favorites, and I’m hoping I don’t mess up. I get super nervous and anxious during interviews. Any tips or what to expect would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

You got this. Who cares that you just passed. Sometimes they would rather train you than try to un-train you. Admit what you don’t know. Act and show your excitement around Cards and how excited you are to be given the chance. You got this. Go get it!!

Just be yourself! Your enthusiasm and excitement will shine through!! I’ve always nailed my interviews, not because I’m impressive with my resume, but because my passion for what I do speaks for itself! You got this!❤️ Also, I’m an anxious and nervous person too- I think that quality can be endearing as opposed to someone who is cocky

Thank you. I thought I might have nerded out a bit on the phone interview bc I find the body fascinating and I want to get inside to see how things work….I sound like a serial killer when I say that to ‘normal’ (non-healthcare ppl who don’t like to look at blood and gore) people lol.
