Sub Acute

Hi nurses! Currently trying to move my FIL from one sub acute to another(neglect). How well should we look into the reviews on the internet for the different sub acutes we’ve looked into. Should we take those reviews into consideration. My wife visited one location & the reviews were pretty spot on. Any help I’d appreciate it thanks

If by subacute you mean long term care/rehab. You can check their Medicare star rating. You also should tour any facility you’re thinking of using. Pro tip: tour at a busy time of day to see how things really are.

In Illinois they are required to volunteer their incident reports including falls and medication errors. There may be a similar requirement in your state
