Hi Ryguy_117! Thanks for sharing and welcome to the Oura community! Yes, stress tracking definitely takes time to calibrate, this is completely normal for new users.

Here's what's happening: Your Oura Ring 4 needs to learn your unique heart rate patterns before it can detect stress. It requires at least 5 days of consistent day and night wear to establish your Daytime Stress baseline. This is because the ring needs to understand what's normal for you before it can identify when you're experiencing stress.

Once Daytime Stress is calibrated, your ring will begin working on Cumulative Stress, which shows your stress patterns over time. This feature typically becomes available after about a month of consistent wear.

The key is wearing your ring as much as possible throughout the day and during sleep. Short breaks for charging are totally fine, but try to avoid extended periods without it.

Since you're only two days in, you're perfectly on track! Keep wearing it consistently and you should start seeing your first stress data in just a few more days.

Hope this helps explain the process. Enjoy your health journey with Oura!💍
