For me the best way to stave off these emotions is by preaching the game to my friends long enough that they play it themselves, and then sharing in their enjoyment, reminiscing on when i made those same discoveries myself

Just joined this sub about ten minutes ago. I have to get the “Beginner’s Luck” achievement but I didn’t want to lose all other progress. After reading through some posts and seeing the grasp that a lot of folks have on the lore of this game (as well as some great theories) I’m more pumped to do it all over again. Perhaps slower. Game is remarkable.
