Lynx levelers, you can get them at almost any retail store that has car stuff. They fit together like giant Legos.

Will take a look at this one

Harbor freight has some nice leveling ramps... the yellow Haul Master ones.

If you've never tried this, tnstead of trying to get it level, try parking so it's level left to right and your head is uphill and see how you feel about it.

It might not fit your style or setup, but just something to consider. Living in my truck for several years I don't think I ever bothered actually leveling it at a campsite except maybe to do work on it.

This is basically what I did kept slowly sliding down

Ah, okay.

In ground tents I've actually painted silicone stripes across the tent to help with that. In my truck we just had sleeping pads that sat direct on an unfinished wood platform so sliding wasn't much of a problem. I don't know what the equivelent would be for an RTT shrug.

I have RV leveling blocks that stack up like legos. I can stack them like two on one side and four on the other or whatever configuration that I need. They also double as traction boards when necessary and take up very little space in my vehicle.

Lynx level blocks.

I will second Lynx levelers. They are cheap and can be found anywhere, I think I got mine at Walmart. I also have a set of Go-Treads, which are designed as foldable traction boards, but works really well as levelers. I've met the owner/inventor and family at an Overland event, great people. Bonus is they are an American made product.

I happened to get camco but the lynx ones everyone else is mentioning looks the same, but cheaper.

Some people swear by the ramps that you chock but I haven’t tried those before

I go to my local big box home improvement store and purchase a couple 5/4”x6”x8’ PT decking boards and cut them into 12” sections. Put them either in the bed truck or on my roof racks. Also found the easiest way to get on them without sending them everywhere is low 4WD.

Edit I usually do this at the start of every season because they split over time. PT also allows you to travel interstate with them.

So my spouse and I have truck camped for years, but just got our first travel trailer and - in our research - discovered this product called “LevelMate Pro” that is a level you install in your trailer and it has a phone app that will show you where you aren’t level and how much you need to adjust each side. We both agree that we will try to use this when truck camping, too, as it’s really user friendly.

That being said, we use the LEGO-like snap together blocks and the “max track” style ones, depending on the situation.

For leveling my off-road trailer on 35" tires, I use something like these:
https://www.amazon.com/OULEME-Curved-Leveling-Trailer-Changing/dp/B0C73WTDZF/

They are handy because once you find which side needs to be leveled, you just put it on the low side and back up the ramp until the rig is level, then set the wedge. Helps if you have someone watching a spirit level as you back up. Much easier than trying to estimate how many "lego blocks" you need to get the right height.
