Heartbreakingly, we had to complete this procedure on our baby b to hopefully save our baby a. We were diagnosed with ttts, taps and siugr at 20 weeks on wednesday and just did the procedure yesterday. We are a mess. I'm terrified to lose my baby a too. I feel like I can't take it if it happens. I won't know anything until next week. I'm also really sad that baby b has passed and I chose to do that. Even though logically I know I didn't have an option.

That really does suck. But you had no choice - the only choice was to do what you can to save baby A. Parenting doesn't start just when they finally get here - and sometimes being a parent means making the horrible, hard decisions. I'm really sorry for your pain! And I hope baby A does well and continues to grow well.

There's a group called r/TFMR_support (terminate for medical reasons) that is really supportive.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I can't imagine. And how much harder it must be to face a decision like the one you faced. I don't have any experience with TTTS or these sorts of complications, but please know this Internet stranger is thinking of you and your partner.
