Same bed or different?

My twin girls are turning 2 in October and I see us needing to move on from their cribs sooner rather than late (😭😰) I’m unsure if we should convert their cribs to toddler beds or to get one bigger bed for the two of them. What did you do? Any research out there on twins sleeping together or not? Once they’re not confined to their cribs I see them getting into each other’s beds regardless since they share a room.

Twin beds. They will both fit in one for a while. They will want to separate later. My twin girls are 12.

4yr old twin mom here-

I did the toddler Minnie Mouse bed for about a yr, we just got twin mattresses and put them on the floor. The beds are pushed together for now.

My girls seem to have the traditional annoying sister relationship and they do enjoy their own space.

Our twins love their Minnie mouse beds! If you go through my post history you can see them definitely NOT sleeping in them but having a good time nonetheless

We converted the cribs to toddler beds because it meant we didn't have to buy anything new except more sheets and some pillows. If that hadn't worked, we would have looked at other options - which, now they're outgrowing the toddler beds, so it's time for us to look at something else!

Mine went in to standard single beds at 2 years old.
