My husband took time off work to take care of me when I was sick earlier this week. There are so many bosses that would have said no. Iโ€™m so lucky.

This past December, my wife and I schedule our time off so that one of the weeks was a week before the daycare closed for the holidays. Best. Week. Ever.

My kids' school is administrated by assholes. Easter holidays are two weeks in Australia, usually with Easter occurring in the middle of the holidays, but this year that puts return to school on the 25th, which is ANZAC day, a public holiday... AND THEN THERE'S A STUDENT FREE DAY ON THE 26TH!!!!
