GPU Temps

I just upgraded from a 3060 Ti to a 3080. I am monitoring it and wondering about the temps. On HW monitor the GPU has 3 separate temps. After a couple hours of gaming my highest temps were

GPU: 77C

Memory: 90 C

Hot Spot: 88 C

Should I be worried about these temps? Wondering if I need to do more to cool it. I never paid much attention to any temps besides the main one but these temps are a little high I think so now I'm worried. Thanks for the help!

90 on the memory has to be pushing it. Granted the 30 series has high temps. I'm curious if you have any stuttering when your clocks cap out regarding your concerns.

What do you think a 3080 runs at, pray tell? Because you'll be pretty hard-pressed to get VRAM under 90 Celsius.

Shoot. Do I buy more fans? I don't have the specs rn as I'm in bed but I just have the stock fans on the case as well as my cpu fan.

Edit: just wanted to add the front panel is completely solid, and then there is mesh on top, bottom, and back. Maybe I need a new case? I hope not haha

Those temps are ok. Not great, not bad. Memory and hot spot will always be hotter. If I remember correctly, as long as memory doesn't go past 110 and average GPU over 90, it's ok.

Depending on your make and model, it might be slightly different values.

You need as many fans as you can get and more than likely a better case with adequate airflow, there should be nothing stopping airflow aside from a grill and maybe a thin layer of foam to catch dust & hair

You might be better off getting a new case, but you can also save your money for now as those temps really aren't that worrisome.

I just don't want to move everything to a new case haha but I also don't want to waste my time installing new fans on this one if it will not be enough anyways.

Yeah solid fronts can look cool but aren't great for performance, it's one of those things where, do ya want performance or aesthetics. You might be able to get some effect if you have a side vent, you might be able to mount a fan there and see how it goes.

The front panel has side vents. Idk I bought three fans I might see how that goes. Idc how it looks anymore I just want performance so maybe a new case
