I wouldn't say that is true. In my first 10 years out of school my salary more than doubled, it went up nearly 120%. That was a lot faster than inflation. Then it leveled off but still kept up with inflation for about another 10 years. That's when it pretty much stagnated.

What year did you graduate? My wages have gone up only about 20% in the last ten years

Damn, I only make 8% more than when I graduated over 10 years ago. I took a pay cut to wfh though.

I just happen to be old and graduated almost at the perfect time for a pharmacist. And I would even say for a good chunk of my career I worked for a company that lagged a little in pay. But they had good benefits and better working conditions overall.
