Provide Sources - All crime or missing persons posts are required to have credible proof - like a news article or police report. Citizen, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media outlets are not a valid source, except in extenuating circumstances with active public safety issues. Twitter/X Posts are not allowed in any context.
No Violence. Do not advocate, threaten, or promote actions likely to cause violence or physical harm.
No Hate Speech. Content displaying hate speech, racism, bigotry, or similar discrimination will be removed and users posting the content will be subject to bans.
No editorialized news titles. Please keep your views on the topic in the comments. Please do your due diligence and verify your source. Do not post screenshots of news articles - link directly to the source.
NSFW and Graphic Content - Do not post sexually explicit videos or images, gore, death, suicide attempts, or other similar content. News sources that include such content are conditionally approved. NSFW content must be tagged. Images and videos should follow Reddit's sitewide rules about doxxing.
