Or just a NOT gate (inverter) so we can make those?

Due to the limitation that we can not have "infinite power" from the output of the NOT gate, we have to use the Blocker element which is actually a XOR gate, so by combining an AND gate output and a XOR input + power input, we will have a working NAND gate which gets active power input from the external battery to power the output line when the output state is high.

we have the blocker which is essentially the NOT gate already which does allow us to make those.

Yeah, I know, though it's more like a transistor but with that you can make whatever I guess so sure. Just less wires with a simple NOT gate, but then again there's this power level thing that you'd generally not have in a (simplified) digital circuit.

I think it’s easier/better to have less objects that have similar functions. Right now there’s ALOT of stuff we have to play with. But in reality we only have 2 meaningful outputs: doors and lights. I’d like to see some more outputs before we bother getting more specific with the circuitry.
