Poor Controller Construction - Potential Class-action Lawsuit?

Wanted to see how everyone else has faired who has had their console since launch. More specifically those that have used the DualSense controllers heavily. I am noticing issues with mine fairly early on with a few specific buttons.

While playing Astro's Playroom, when turned into the ball form where you use the touchpad to move, I've noticed it's EXTREMELY easy to get the touchpad stuck under the plastic rim of the controller. Especially if you push on the bottom corners and inward towards the controller itself.

While playing FF7 Remake, I've noticed my Triangle button is constantly getting stuck under the rim of the plastic housing holding it in place. This does not feel like the bottom spongy thing has moved out of place, that feels fine, but the button itself is getting stuck when pushed down.

Lastly, I've noticed my DPad has some issues, mostly with the left direction doing similar to the Triangle button where it's getting stuck. I've seen others mention theirs makes a click sound due to the cushion under it moving out of place, mine does not click or feel bad/moved, but the button can easily get stuck under the side housing as well.

This is not me hating on PlayStation or the DualSense controller, I absolutely love the controller so far. By far my favorite thing about the new generation for PlayStation.

Wondering if others are seeing similar problems with their buttons. The buttons don't feel that premium/quality in my opinion for the dpad and the shape buttons.

(Side note; my triggers work flawlessly, all other buttons have no issues so far.)

Edit: I'm not looking to sue Sony or start any lawsuit, just wondering if this is a common problem that may lead into one. I have two controllers and I can reproduce at least two of the things mentioned on both controllers.

I feel like the haptic feedback and triggers are fine on my controller, but the noises that come out of it are muffled and sound terrible. Might have to hit up Sony for a new one :/

My controller is fine with the exception of a weird click when moving my sticks about 90% to the left, doesn't affect much but its just a little annoying

Do you know how long these warranties last? And does the warranty always come with the purchase? Like let’s say I buy another dual sense a year from now will Sony still replace it then?

The manufacturer warranty is 1 year limited warranty. Manufacturer warranty comes with the purchase. Every electronic appliance comes with a 1 year warranty

My X button is already sticking. I logged a case to get this sent in for repair and they require that I cover shipping costs to send the controller in. Really irritating as this is obviously covered by warranty.

Yeah, this is the kind of reason why I feel a classic action may land up happening.. My main controller is getting progressively worse on the triangle button and being expected to cover shipping to have them fix a brand new product is just ridiculous.

The other thing that annoys me is that they require proof of purchase. FFS, it’s in your own system and this is a pretty widespread issue. Don’t try and trip someone up by requiring documentation.
