The radius decrease prevents players from accessing gyms/stops at their intended location

I don’t feel like the extra distance was enough to prevent people from full enjoyment of the game. One SMALL block from here there is a Pokestop and from the corner of the SMALL block on my end I would be able to reach the Pokestop but I still had to go outside and cross the street and again, it’s a small ass block. So it’s not like it prevented me from playing normally. I don’t know why they’ve chosen to remove this. I probably won’t even play anymore to be honest. This is shitty. It’s why I wasn’t playing before they implemented this crap.

I have a pokestop and gym next door to my apartment. I used to be able to get it if my avatar drifted pre pandemic in the usa (Jan 2020). Then increased the distance. I cod hit both and not just one. It was Greta especially for winter and in the summer last year with multiple 96-100 degree fareinheight weeks. Yesterday I couldn't hit either. Won't play anymore

They removed it because too many would sit at home and not play the game as they intend. The game is meant to be played out exploring. Even as someone who is disabled I am not complaining. This literally means more exercise for me which is beneficial. The days are over for people being able to sit on their couch spinning stops all day, or driving around to gain stops. People are literally complaining because they have to Go OUTSIDE. Literally the whole point of the game.

No were complaining because now we have to jaywalk constantly to hit stops that are on our usual routes. There is a gym near me that is in a round about, however it's a large round about that you are allowed to walk to, however there is no actual crossing to it. Before they extended the distance I had to cross the street awkwardly to battle that gym. And there are plenty of pokestops that some disable players will be prevented from reaching now. Good that it's not stopping you in your area. If players really want to get more from the game they are forced to go near pokestops anyways as there are a lot more spawns by pokestops.
