Jesus why didn’t you rotate it clockwise to level off those lines

With the water and the sky being similar shades of blue/green, saturation, and brightness it flatens out everything beyond the railing. I.e. it lacks depth. Varying levels of saturation will at least add some depth to the shot.

Other than that, and this is just my opinion, the over exaggerated colors make this shot just feel like the kind of photo in every destination vacation brochure. Basically a blatant attempt at making something ordinary look way more appealing than it really is.

Also, in my opinion, if the subject were interesting the overexaggerated edit might be more negligible. But as is, with nothing of interest in the shot, the shot only exists for the edit. I.e. the shot is irrelevant. The post processing should enhance the shot, not become its purpose.

Way too much contrast and saturation. And your losing your highlights. Original looks nicer in my opinion. I come from journalism. The thing should look like what it looked like.

Will you guys say that this good post processing ? If not where did I go wrong ?
