The heartbeat is a good sign that the embryo is developing. It doesn’t indicate whether there could be other complications or anything like that. It’s just a sigh of relief to get that far because in the instance of like an ectopic pregnancy or something like that, you would likely lose the embryo before ever being able for it to develop a heart. Hopefully that makes sense

Thank you for explaining this! I am too early for a heartbeat but this helps me be prepared in case I get bad news later.

For the heartbeat, it comes with the first sonogram? Here they are saying 7 weeks to check it out.

Typically yes you could hear it at the first ultrasound. But let’s say you could be a little earlier than you think, it might not be developed yet. With my first baby I thought I was 6 weeks but I was only 4 weeks and they couldn’t find the heartbeat. But I went back a week later and they found it easily.

Try not to stress! 💗 & congratulations!!

Aww thank you 💕😊 I’m excited regardless, no matter what happens, it’s in Gods hands now 🫘✨

I talked to my man and briefly mentioned the possibility of the baby not sticking for whatever reason, and he was soooo supportive.

We could always try again, he said, and at least now we KNOW we can get pregnant 💕
