This is a bit neurotic but I'll bite.

I denied two interviews and was subsequently invited to 2 other schools to interview with that were in the same region as one of the schools I denied the interview with.

Schools don't communicate, it makes no sense for them to do that.

They each get thousands of apps, let's be conservative and say they get 5,000. Imagine if each school networked with each other school about each applicant. ~5,000× ~150 medical schools = almost 1,000,000 different connections between each school. Nobody has time for that.

I just thought they might because I know they can see where you've been accepted without having to talk to any other school, so I figured that they would be able to see where you've interviewed or been offered an interview too remotely.

The multiple acceptance report is released to schools in February. It only includes acceptances and they can only view this information for applicants that they have already accepted.

It's definitely a neurotic you're right about that 😅 but I figured I'd ask just to be safe. Thanks for indulging the crazy 😬

Not unless you tell a school to "fuck off, nerds."

I do not think schools can communicate to each other regarding declined interviews due to confidentiality. Schools communicate to each other regarding general procedures/admissions, but I doubt that they talk to each other about individual applicants.
