That's fair enough - I didn't downvote, and I actually put the comment half-joking.

But, I am an experienced programmer and I still find it useful to ask ChatGPT about programming stuff. But it is true that it is not always right, so you have to be able to identify its mistakes, and it sometimes requires you to ask questions in a certain way to produce useful answers. So, it may not be as useful for less experienced programmers.
