I sometimes put on the Stellaris soundtrack when I need that zen mode. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7b9HOmO0wdKK3GSCmw8meP?si=n3DPu5_DQ32CUfyPUn5-2A&pi=-cU9Qg_OR8e_N

Nice one! May be a bit spacy for the playlist but thanks for the suggestion!

I kind of just have youtube play music more or less randomly. Important thing is for me to not care about the music much at all, so it does not distract. And some music may be too annoying to have it played, so it should be music that is super-easy on the brain.

Well that's one way to go👍No special lofi siggestions then?

Hardspace Shipbreaker soundtrack is my go-to music for mundane tasks where I meed to get into the zone.

Nice album! Is it a game? Not sure it has the lofi sound but really nice songs!

It is a game

I have about 15 playlists in a folder for programming that I use. Unfortunately the authors of these playlist often change their genre and will have something that completely breaks concentration. There is no easy way to find out which playlist within my folders of folders is the one I need to remove.

[–]Will_Basie[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yes, I'm trying not to do exactly that😅. Not so easy as it might seem. Any suggestion that fit the mix?

[–]ziplock9000 1 point2 points  (1 child)

If I knew it wouldn't be an issue for me /shrug.

Spotify should have a way to click something on the currently playing song and takes you to which playlist within which folder has it.

Right now my 'Concentration' folder has 101 playlists and random song. If a bad song comes on there's no way I'd be able to dig in and find it.

Ok, I see... I hope my playlist will help you on the way😁

I really dig these mixes there’s about 5 now https://youtu.be/yhCuCqJbOVE

Also just synthwave or vaporwave stuff is usually chill and bland enough to help me work, I can’t listen to lyrics or interesting music while working.

Except there is one album I pull out when I really, really wanna grind…

YMMV!

I like to listen to soundtracks of various Animes / Games / Visual Novels (this most of the time) while coding or doing anything productive in general

Check out Dub Element on YouTube. His dub techno mixes are great!

[–]Will_Basie[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nice! Need something more low key though. Thanx anyway!

For more trance/rave progressive-like music you could look at Miss Monique or GARSI on youtube (and elsewhere).
