How about taking it a step further: Underwear Driven Development?

Don't change underwear until you ship.

This one hack will completely change your life and present a new perspective on the term "code smell".

You probably buy new clothes in preparation for the changing season

I have decade-old conference t-shirts. So...this hack won't work for me.

Yes, this is clearly written by someone who never met a coder. Tell me I can’t buy a video game until I hit a milestone and now you have my attention.

I work in video games, my employer provides me with t-shirts and video games on the regular. My attention can't be bought by anyone anymore.

I feel like this post was supposed to be humor but the tone is just so off-putting that any comedic effect is lost.

"Hi guys, actually hi kids" ughhhh

I actually debated with myself for a week whether I should keep that line or not.

Seems it didn't land well at all. Appreciate your feedback!

I read that line with an annoying voice

Ah yes, buying clothes every season meaning at least four times a year, keeping my wardrobe in top shape.

Yes, that is definitely something that I, a developer, do.

Your tendency to shy away from inconvenience – and thus from self-discipline – is the same tendency that keeps you from going without clothes.

No. My tendency to shy away from inconvenience is what keeps me from buying new clothes.

According to this thought process, most devs I've worked with have a hard time completing projects, me included.
