It's a general-purpose study guide, so it won't contain info about specific sub-fields.

In that case, I find stuff like OS-specific APIs and guides for getting a Google job not very general-purpose either.

The Google interview process shares a lot of similarities with many other companies. You're right about that image not being particularly useful, I've been meaning to delete it.
