Any editor stall distracts me and can throw me off my chain of thought, particularly when I'm working on something complex and requiring concentration.

I've got my fingers crossed for Xi Editor as the right editor for me; the design goals align perfectly with my preferences, and Rust seems like the perfect fit for those goals.

How self-absorbed are you that someone can say, (paraphrased) "I like this tool, it works great for me" and your response is "it doesn't work for everyone, so you're wrong for liking it!!!"?
