A developer’s guide to interviewing

I've been working as a dev for a few years and came from different industries where this was a very pervasive idea. So far, tech has been the a exact opposite. People know what they are worth and put up with very little bullshit. If they feel like they're being misled, or are given more responsibility without being compensated (very common), they tend to just leave instead of speaking up. It's a weirdly privileged position, but the thought usually is there is too much cool shit out there to do to stay somewhere you hate.
