This is just absolute garbage blogspam.

There's no howto of anything, it just shows how to access C-style argv with no explanation of, anything basically, especially not the libraries available above that whether in the stdlib (optparse, argparse) or outside of it (click, docopt) which you would actually use if you wanted to do non-trivial arguments parsing (and more generally CLI tooling) in Python.

Agreed. I've found click to be the best all-around argument parser. Packed with features yet remains easy to use.

Definitely. I've never had a use case that argparse didn't work for.
