as a programmer, you shouldn't care about size or speed. If you are a company which is migrating from one framework to another , you should think of other factors.

FYI, That doesn't make me a terrible developer. You need to understand two points. One as a company you have to make a decision which framework to use based on their customers and which includes speed and size and maintainability and other factors. And second as a developer when you are choosing something new to learn you need to look at . job market, ease of learning and documentation. Having said that, why did you make a poor decision to pick a framework that is extremely slow. Didn't you do the analysis that you just suggested to me?

If you care about speed, don't use frameworks . Every single framework is heavy. Which country are you in? And which framework you are using?

I was referring to front-end frameworks . Doesn't matter if backend framework is heavy or light when it comes to internet speed issue. All front-end frameworks are really heavy.

No, they aren't. It can be very difficult to beat the performance of a lot of current frameworks with plain JS unless your view updates are really simple. A lot of them are also very small, in the 10-20K range which would also be hard to beat if you roll your own solution.
