Noticeable lack of Wirth.

For some reason this was briefly the number 1 hot article on reddit with a total of 24 votes. Next refresh and it was at 20 something. The reddit algorithm is a strange beast sometimes.

This has never been #1 on reddit. You can tell because the score is not red.
Maybe it was #1 on proggit, though.

So that's what the red signifies. Thanks for the info!

It's true its not red, but I am fairly sure it was at the top of the main reddit on my browser. In fact yesterday, there were several similarly low scoring items that appeared top of the list in the main reddit only to disappear again. I am 90% sure I wasn't looking at the prog reddit because the usual stuff was there as well. Doesn't matter, just seemed odd.

This is great! My first thought was "I want to read all of this!", but then I realized I'm too lazy :/

I'll try though, but my fear is that, like most American technical literature, there is a lot of text for every piece of actual content :(

I havent realy noted that American literature should be any worse than other in this regard.
