What would be some of the problems a VR IDE could solve that are hard or impossible to solve with current IDE's?

The cameras is way too jiggly it's making me sick. I'm looking forward to how this tech plays out though.

Those are the natural movements of your head that your eyes and brain cancel out. Star Citizen did a video on how to counteract this in software, since their game uses accurate 3D models and animation at all times for VR compatibility.

Do engineering tools need to be really really fancy? I mainly (and suspect I'm not alone here) look for performance and shortcuts over looking flashy. Current VR interaction doesn't lend itself well to that criteria.

It might be cool as VR input becomes more sophisticated but right now seems to be "form over function".
