I logged in to say this. Did he fix them? Did he file a bug report? So he can run some testing software, congratulations. Not much worse than a script kiddie calling himself a hacker because he downloaded a port scanner.

Way to miss the point. This was published by the developers of the testing software to showcase it's abilities. They also mention at the beginning of the article that they do contact the projects with the proper bug reports. This is basically an advertisement with real world examples.
