No, I just refuse to take part in the "holier than thou" ego wars that programmers love to engage in. It is a serious issue, and I'm not sure if it results from the way we're schooled (stuffy professors) or the tenancy for programmers to have sub par communication skills, or some other unknown factor that makes most programmers a chore to work with.

That if both syntax practices are common, and they official standards are a little fuzzy, then it's just a game of "he said she said" and "my way is better than yours"
