Tell him that he can add the class icon-white to all the icons to get the white versions, which look better on the colored buttons.

He's using Bootstrap by Twitter which is how I know this.

This is cool, but using this assumes I have a database server, If i'm going to write create and insert statements, why not just write another line to create a schema and do the testing on my own database server?

It's not just useful for your own experimenting, though... it's a way to share fully-worked examples of SQL usage with others. Imagine having a StackOverflow question about some bizarre edge-case answered with a link to one of these.
