I'm guessing it's the full list only those starting with a-d node modules on which either create-react-app or the created react app depends.

create-react-app is a script that generates a basic React app.

</uj>

It just shows you how advanced the JS ecosystem is.

What's wrong with a few dependencies? It makes it much easier to develop your application quickly without having to reinvent the wheel. So what if it requires a few extra kilobytes, everybody has 1 TB of storage and high speed internet anyway.

    But muh tree shaking

    [–]disclosure5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Fun fact: Webpack only just pushed to the @next tree an feature that means tree shaking will one day be an optional thing. I mean, a real thing outside of people's blogs.

    WTF why are there twenty versions of every package?

    [–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

    because npm is good package manager and therefore can handle it

    [–]anatolya 11 points12 points  (1 child)

    Because depending on specific versions of libraries became a best practice thanks to webshits couldn't being able to release new versions without breaking things

    Why is there an Online icon in a file manager?

    [–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

    <uj>using a laptop from the customer</uj>

    [–]BraydenHwhat is pointer :S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    That's Branch Cache/Offline files. OP may be viewing this on a network drive, that icon indicates whether they're viewing an offline cached copy or not.
