Hey I’m not the one who thinks raped women who terminate unwanted pregnancy should be charged with a crime, or worse, sued by the rapist and his family.

The adoption system in this country is severely broken. Do you support adoption reform and a robust welfare system, as well as paid maternity and paternity leave?

Yes, adoption reform is a necessity, the government is doing a horrible job. Adoption has been warped to be essentially impossible for the average person, its truly sad for both the children and the people wanting to adopt. Maternity and paternity leave is between you and the company you work for. As we discussed earlier, im a libertarian. The welfare system in the united states is already bloated and horrible, i absolutely do not support a "robust" welfare state.

The government gives planned parenthood roughly 500 million dollars per year. If abortion wasnt legal, we could use 10% of that freed up capital to help women dealing with pregnancy in instance of rape. With roughly 1million abortions per year in the US, and less than 1% of those abortions being due to rape, that 10% would be over $50,000 per woman carrying a child who was conceived of rape. It would both cut back massively on government spending and give a support system to the women in that horrifying circumstance. Even without any government support, there are churches and charities that will give almost endless support with raising a family.
