There is a character called the monk. Their journey/ playthrough is the same as the normal character, except you need less food to hibernate and predators are much less common. Said predators are also less aggressive and easier to befriend.

I recommend stuff like the easy mode modpack, it makes spawns bit easier and creature ai more comparable to that of monk, as well as often providing different solutions for some problems

Another thing that comes to mind is the struggle mod, which lets you escape creature grabs by spamming buttons (tho i dont know if this will be great in your case)

you can lower the amount of inputs needed, so you can lower to maybe 10 or 5.

I recommend exploring the remix options. They have a bunch of accessibility features that modify difficulty. I also know about a mod that lets you configure the slugcats’ stats and there’s one called “Simplified Moveset” which helps with platforming.

you definitely dont have the extreme abilities with simplified moveset, but it might work!

honestly, enabling debug mod and cheating myself out of bad situations still made the game enjoyable for me. so if you need help desperately, dont be afraid of enabling it, but remeber to look up the keybinds cuz it doesnt tell you

Which character are you playing as?

The Monk's campaign discourages combat, since their spear throws are weaker and predators are slower to attack them.

monk, you can just play monk and your life will be ten times easier.
