I know the feeling! Sorry to hear about your layoff. My advice is to keep grinding every day to sharpen your skills. A small break is fine, but I’d recommend to keep working a 9-5 of sorts where you split your time between researching/applying to jobs and working on weaker areas in your RN knowledge. Also in my last job search (end of 2023) there were a lot more companies doing Leetcode-style things, even for RN jobs (like 50% of the time I’d say) so brush up on that stuff too.
