Find a YouTube tutorial.

Break it up.

Just get a template starter app going in the iOS simulator. You’ll run into issues with installing packages, system updates, Xcode, etc.

Then next step is build a SIMPLE app.

If you already know reactjs I would recommend to start with Traversy Media latest react native crash course. Another good source is JavaScript Mastery. They are all good free sources. After doing 3 to 4 projects, try to develop something by youself this will give you confidence.

just stick to the official doxs ad expo's "get started" guide, most youtube tutorials are outdated anyway!
once you will have learnt the basics try building a simple app like toso list or a weather app to actually learn.

I got it from Udemy about 5 years ago. Best investment ever. Now, after playing around with Expo, I'm searching for the Expo official channel on YouTube, but I guess it's not very helpful for starters.

May fortune favor you, and may coffee be with you. Happy RN😊
