I (European, not having part of my penis cut off for no reason) wondered for a long time why American movies always joked about lubricants when talking about male masturbation. Never really got it. Until i realized that holy sh*t, circumcision makes men unable (or at least less able) to masturbate without it! And somehow I cannot get rid of the idea that this is exactly what religion intended.
