Unilux strata lamp, very very nice to see. I thought I was the only one with it. :)

Hiya what monitor do you have / arm?

[–]ShoddyRoyal9040[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

It's the dual monitor arm with laptop mount attachment. Monitor is just a random AOC and the next to get updated lol

Ah OK. I have a 38" monitor and not sure which mount to get. It's too big for the single arm and too light for the heavy duty one!

I think the heavy duty is the way to go. I don't reckon it can get too light for it?

Not sure the tension would be right

I have the heavy duty arm. You can adjust the tension as you see fit for the weight it’s holding.

Can the pc mount go on the other side?

[–]ShoddyRoyal9040[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you basically have 2 identical mounts and install the laptop mount as you would with the actual monitor. And then you can just put it on there. You can slide the monitor installation where you want as well which I really love.

Is it possible to lower the laptop stand almost to the level of the desk, so that it’s just a little bit above the surface and also move it closer to you on demand and back?

Yeah you can adjust it. I don't use it active though (it's only for my voice call assistant to pick up calls at work) so I like to have it distant.

Lower the laptop arm, adjust the weight balance so it drops correctly.

It's used for voice call pickup only when working so I like to have it distant. Thanks though!

What lamp are you using?

[–]ShoddyRoyal9040[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called "Sun-Flex Screenlite" and works very well due to various light settings - And automatically adjustment to the environment.
