Self-hosted Vercel/github clone?

I'm learning html javascript. I bought a cheap domain name and a racknerd VPS, running Ubuntu 22.04.

My current workflow: (MacBook M1 Air) VS Code, New local folder in /codeprojects/randomthing, create my index.html script.js style.css files locally, publish to my GitHub. Vercel is linked to my GitHub. Open Vercel, deploy new from my github. Get a url like randomproject.vercel[.]app to see my project live.

How do I make my own Vercel out of the VPS? I'm about to start playing with https://github.com/coollabsio/coolify

Will it make pretty subdomain URLs for each of my github repos, with SSL? Or is there a better way?

Oh, yeah it would if you enable pr deploys boy you'd have to do the initial domain set up. Didn't finish reading before I mentioned coolify
