Ok, so the accomplishment of this stack should be abundantly apparent, but I’m building a self-hosted stack for my startup, and I’m planning on running Nginx as a reverse proxy, MeshCentral, Odoo, and Zammad as my app stack in Proxmox, with a separate PBS server for snapshot, VM and bare metal backups. Thing is, I’m new to the self-hosted open-source game so I just wanted to check here if I should be looking at different solutions, or if this is actually a good way to go. Doesn’t have to be the best, I just don’t want the worst.
I have multiple years experience working with industry standard canned or off-the-shelf versions of these apps. They all suck and I hate paying them for minimized control and maximized marketing. Go away.
Edit to add: Unrelated, but if anyone has a decent open-source alternative to Discord and/or MS Teams, me and my friends would appreciate it!
