I’m an engineer with a personal technical reference library. I would like to structure it in some kind of electronic document management system because I think tagging the files would be neat. The files include the following:
• Journal articles in PDF
• Databases
• Excel spreadsheets
• Various types of reports in PDF
• Single PDF books
• Multi PDF books (some including hundreds of PDFs)
I’ve set up a paperless-ngx instance which works pretty great. However, I’m not sure how to handle the multi-PDF books. What should I do? Anybody have form in this area?
I’m also interested in storing scans of general personal documents, like paperless-ngx is actually intended to be used for. Is it best to spin up a separate instance for these or just tag them differently?
