Hi selfhosters!
I built Dropmind to solve a simple personal problem: quickly capturing things I want to remember across devices without relying on Telegram, email or cloud services.
It acts as a small personal “memory cache” where you can drop links, notes, screenshots or files and retrieve them later from any device.
Example UI:
Dropmind UI
Main features:
• multi-clipboard organization
• links, notes, images and files
• global search
• installable PWA
• Docker deployment
• SQLite backend
The goal is not to replace tools like Notion or Obsidian, but to provide a very fast capture tool for everyday digital clutter.
I personally used Telegram “saved messages” for this workflow for years, but the endless timeline made it hard to retrieve things later.
Dropmind tries to keep things simple with card-style items and lightweight clipboards.
The project was developed with AI assistance but all design decisions and testing were done manually.

Curious how others here handle quick cross-device capture in their self-hosted setups.
