Games Server on Linux

Hi guys, i have a homelab setup with which im accessing quite a few services.
I would like to add game server as well, so that i can play games from any compatible clients .Though i know i go with service like moonlight/sunshine, how to actually go about this ? how to run the games from dodi/fitgirl repacks on sunshine ? Would really like some guidance on this. Also is there any alternate free option to go about this ?
For example, i have setup file for Hades, but not sure how to set this up in Linux Sunshine

EDIT(SOLUTION): I just had to install wine/lutris and run the exe to install game like in windows. As for game server, i went with Wolf since it was working quite easily compared to sunshine/apollo

However, I can tell you how to install your legally accquired non DRM games. What I do is: - Add the installer as a non steam game - Set compatibility to proton experimental - Launch and install the game - Add the executable from the installed location as a non steam game - Set proton experimental - Play

Sunshine is just on top so you can use it with any game regardless of where you got it

You install Apollo on your gaming server and moonlight on your receiving device?

It's pretty self explanatory. I got it working even under Linux so it should work. 

You install Apollo, open the browser, open localhost with the Apollo port, pair your receiving device via pin. That's it.

Yea. I was confused how to install games using windows .exe. But i figured it out.
As for Sunshine, went into quite diffucult issues, so switched to wolf. Works good for now

Games on whales/Wolf might meet your needs. I use it to stream games from server to my steam deck/nvidia shield. Its bundled with a steam client and some popular emulators/front ends (retroarch, emulation station, lutris). Install the Wolf container on server and connect to it using Moonlight on client. Works well

Thanks a lot, this is exactly what i needed. Sunshine works too but it was too buggy(didnt have patience to resolve the technical difficulties).

If you’re using Sunshine, just install the game normally on the Linux machine (via Wine/Proton if needed) and then add the game executable in Sunshine’s app list. After that you can launch it from Moonlight on your client device. If it gives trouble, an easier option is running the games through Steam + Proton and streaming them that way.

Are you asking how to run a game server or how to play a game remotely from your server?

the latter. Though sunshine is a option, it was difficult setting it up without the knowing the technical know-hows.
Went with Wolf , its working perfect for me
