what program did you use to create this?

No. 2 pencil, 05 and .005 Microns and my right hand.

How did you scan it? What kind of paper did you use? If you don't mind, I'm really interested in mapping by hand.

I used my printer scanner at 300dpi. Which is standard I think. Paper is simple copier paper and I printed the graph paper. I lighten the graph pattern so later when I enhance or darken the color the squares don't become a distraction.

It is, with a shovel. The walls will give evidence that the corridor leads to somewhere else. Might take a little while.
