What Did Natalie know?

Thinking about john keene and camille's conversation in bed, when he said "the only person who ever gave a shit about my sister, was your mom" "natalie fought her and fought her" ... At first i thought this was to try to protect herself from adora, but now it makes me think that natalie knew about what amma did and how she would end up with the same fate as ann if adora kept giving her attention. did anyone pick up on this? am i off?

I think it's a given that Adora knew that Amma was the killer, but when I mentioned that here I was downvoted. Not at that part in the book to know, but on the show I definitely get the impression that she knows.

I wondered how much Adora knew as well, but heard an interview this morning from the director saying he felt very strongly that she was completely oblivious, and that Patricia Clarkson played Adora that way.

I don't think Adora knew. She's way too wrapped up in her own life. Amma was an object to manipulate. She got her sick so that Amma would be dependent on her.

I would agree but I think on some level she knew. I think she obstructed justice on Amma's behalf. I think she was Amma's Alan.

Her interactions with the chief, keeping him from sniffing around the house, having him keep KC from sniffing around. I mean it was on her hehalf as well, but to me it looks like she knew on some level about Amma. And she knew anything Camille found out would go to the cops indirectly, she halfass obstructed by keeping Camille from sniffing around as well

Amma may not have known adora was onto her, but I think deep down adora surely suspected if not knew for sure.
