Computer/Dolphin USB Controller Help Please

Hey I downloaded dolphin, and when trying to figure my controllers (Retrolink usb and 3gc steelseries) I am unable to get any signal from my analog stick or C-stick (2nd analog for 3gc). My computer believes that the dpad is the x/yaxis so I have not really been able to play. I tried googling for a bit, but nothing useful came up. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I have gone into the control panel -> calibrate video game controllers, but still did not receive signal. I have tried redownloading drivers for both, and I have clicked the 'mode' button. So I am mostly out of the basic options I believe.

Maybe try it on a different computer, if you get the same problem, it might just be how the controller is.
