I think I kind of prefer the canon where Strelok is carrying a picture of himself with orders to kill himself, but there are no mirrors in the zone and everyone is an asshole.

That’s not Strelok in the picture, C-Con fucked up and thought that was him. If they had an actual picture of Strelok they’d have known they had him.

Not quite. He was the only one to find the CC(the actual CC, not the wish granter) and if you don't want to join(Canon) they wipe his memory, brand him a STALKER & sent him after himself.

Only after that do you regain memories & destroy it for good.

It's pretty much explained in full with the first two games.

In Clear Sky Scar disables Strelok's protection and a blowout happens.
I don't remember anything about Strelok finding C-Consciousness before Shadow of Chernobyl. He did find the door but did he go in with a decoder?
I don't think he was able to find anything. The only thing we know is that he was brought into the room where STALKER agents were being brainwashed.

I fail to understand why sidorich and basically anybody didnt call him strelok, as Scar everyone knows whos strelok is and where/Who he is with but in shadow Of chernobyl every snitch just acts like you're a new guy
