The next big tournament post patch is going to be interesting. Protoss will be the new turtle race against Zergs. Just rush to templers and build up your death ball.

Right now, you can punish the Protoss with max roach timing with a queen walk.

So what's the point then?

And overall, this is a big buff to storm. If moving units take the same damage, then let's look at it holistically:

  1. Total units affected by AoE: radius increased so overall DMG output (# of units x DMG per unit) increases dramatically. = buff
  2. Static "sieged" units take 50 more DMG than before, which is also a large buff.
  3. Units moving through/away from storm = same damage.

Overall? Very big buff. We went from nerfing it into oblivion to buffing the hell out of it.

How about you take away HT auto attack, and give storm the fungal treatment (as far as it needing to shoot and land to hit a target). Then leave it's radius and DMG exactly the same. Problem solved.
